The link between art and medicine is the subject of a new exhibition organised by the British Institute of Radiology (BIR) this month.
'The Art of Medicine' is intended to stir debate among the public.
It brings together professionals involved in the business of radiology, with artists drawing inspiration from radiological techniques and images.
The event will be held at the BIR in London between 16-21 March 2009.
There is a special evening lecture for trainees on Wednesday 18 March at 5pm. This is free, but with limited places so registration is necessary.
Society members should note that they will not be able to access the BIR library (which houses the CoR library collections) as it will be closed during the exhibition. It will reopen on Monday 23 March.
