Radiotherapy students: Join in the hottest debates in your profession by attending the UK Radiation Oncology Conference.
UKRO is a multidisciplinary conference for students, clinical oncologists, therapy radiographers, radiotherapy physicists, clinical radiobiologists and oncology nurses.
The conference is being held in Cardiff from the 6-8 April 2009.
The programme has attracted a wide choice of speakers and subject matter including the role of independent centres in cancer treatment, reporting errors, the future of radiotherapy and future possibilities for proton services in the UK.
There are also a number of proffered papers with radiographer speakers in parallel sessions, covering IMRT; imaging; movement and immobilisation; clinical issues; quality assurance; functional imaging; and service provision.
As usual there will be a full programme of social events around UKRO the highlight being the conference dinner on the Monday night.
