The SoR has extended the deadline for student submissions to the Radiotherapy Weekend 2010 until 7 September 2009.
"We are very keen to support research by students and hope this will encourage as many of you as possible to proffer a paper or poster," said SoR professional officer for research, Rachel Harris.
"The extended deadline will allow final year students time to finish their dissertations first."
All proffered papers and posters will be anonymously
and independently assessed and marked by the Scientiļ¬c
Committee. Those with the highest marks will be selected for
presentation.
All accepted paper and poster abstracts will be published in the
conference booklet.
Only electronic abstracts submitted to janet@sor.org by the
closing date of 7 September 2009 will be accepted.
Please note that accepted proffered paper presenters will be
required to register for the conference by 1 September 2009
in order to be included in the programme.
There will be prizes for the best proffered paper and best
poster at the event. The winners’ names will be published in
the March 2010 edition of Synergy News.
If you need advice on how to write an abstract, please email
Rachel Harris.
