Forget what Brad and Stacey are up to in Albert Square this week; if you want to know what's going on in the world of radiography keep your eyes peeled for a new online service from the SoR.
With its charmingly Ronseal name, 'The Noticeboard' is an interactive area of the SoR site allowing you to look up the latest on events, courses, study days, seminars and conferences happening across the UK.
The Noticeboard is also available to SCoR members and non-members who would like to input forthcoming events.
Samantha Jewell, SoR professional officer for education and students said: "Many students in the UK are holding events at their university, this is a great way for them to advertise to the radiography community. At the same time, what better way to keep informed as to what everyone else is up to, and to be the first to apply for study days and conferences run by the Society? We encourage students to log on and take a look."
Event organisers are encouraged to input their notices, whether they are courses, study days, conferences or seminars. However, they must be of relevance to diagnostic and/or therapeutic radiographers. All notices will be verified before publication.
The Noticeboard has been designed to complement the Society's online Events system which was launched in early 2009. The Events system gives users the opportunity to browse, book and pay for SCoR events online.
