For anyone creating an online group and discussion forum, the Society has issued guidance to members on the use of Google groups.
The guidance lays out best practice for establishing and administering Google Group activities.
The SCoR’s knowledge officer Claire Dumbleton commented: “Online discussion groups such as Google Groups are a great way to share ideas with other students. If you are thinking about setting up an online discussion guidance gives you hints and tips on where to start and potential issues to consider.”
