Any organisation that has the staying power of 90 years has to be special, and it goes without saying the Society would be nothing without those who have helped make it great – the members.
To celebrates its 90th anniversary, the Society is inviting you to contribute to a special one-off project entitled Every Picture Tells a Story.
To acknowledge and celebrate all those who have built and shaped the Society over the last nine decades, Synergy News is inviting all members to get involved with what the Society hopes will become its largest history project to date.
Each and every member – from the retired right through to you, the student – is asked to send in and share their photograph(s) of days gone by. The images should be of you and/or your colleagues at work or study, and should give a flavour of the profession and its people.
Please caption your images as fully as possible, including names, dates and places where possible.
Electronic photos should be emailed in. Please ensure that any image scanned is at least 300dpi (high resolution). Photos can also be posted to: Every Picture, 27 Castle Street, Canterbury, Kent, CT1 2PX.
Please be advised that hard copy photographs that are posted cannot be returned, so please make sure you have a copy of the image you are sending, if you wish to retain it.
Past, present, future
As well as sharing photographic experiences of your career in radiography so far, we’re particularly interested in hearing the views of students in relation to the future of the profession - and, more specifically, want you to tell us what you think the profession will look like in 2100 and why?
Again, email your thoughts to us, and we'll print as many as we possibly can in a forthcoming edition of Synergy News.
