Details of the prizes for a student raffle on the SoR stand at UKRC have been announced.
Held in Birmingham from Monday 7 to Wednesday 9 June, the conference provides delegates with the opportunity to meet all their CPD requirements in a unique learning environment.
This year, the SoR stand will be holding a raffle in which all students can enter to win a host of prizes. There's one top prize - an Apple iPod touch 32 GB Digital player - plus five £20 high street vouchers to be won.
Students can obtain a ticket for the raffle, which relates to the new Student Recruitment Strategy, in the following ways:
For first year students: If first year students give their direct debit details to pay for their second year membership (commencing 1 October 2010 - or 1 February 2011 for February intake students) they will receive a ticket for the promotional raffle.
For second year students: If second year students, who are not currently in the student membership, give their direct debit details to pay to join the third year membership (commencing 1 October 2010 - or 1 February 2011 for February intake students) they will receive free membership until 30 September 2010 (or 31 January 2011 for February intake students) and a ticket for the promotional raffle.
For third/fourth year students: If third/fourth year students, who are not currently in the student membership, give their direct debit details to pay to join the third year membership (commencing immediately) they will receive three months complimentary full membership from 1 October 2010 (or 1 April 2011 for February intake students) and a ticket for the promotional raffle. NB: these students will need to pay the student membership rate until they graduate from the date of UKRC (ie June-October or April for February intake students).
All students in membership (regardless of year of training): All student members who visit the SoR stand during UKRC will be entitled to a free raffle ticket. Proof of membership must be confirmed with the SoR database which will be available via a laptop connected to APT.
All students will also receive discounted rates on tickets to this year's UKRC: Full registration for the conference is available for undergraduate students at the heavily discounted rates of £42.10 for one day attendance to £73.67 for three day registration.
