The SoR has launched a new award to recognise outstanding achievement by radiography students.
The Radiography Student of the Year Award will honour a final year undergraduate member who represents the best of the profession's values.
“The awards are the ideal opportunity to raise the profile of student radiographers and the work that they do,” says Zena Mitton, the Society’s President.
“One of the highlights for the winner will be the presentation, which take place at the House of Commons before an invited audience of the ‘great and the good’ of radiography, plus members of parliament and a high profile guest who presents the award.”
The presentation will take place alongside the SoR Radiographer of the Year 2008 and Team of the Year awards, both nationally recognised.
Nomination forms and criteria are available from the SoR.
So get thinking about who you are going to put forward and start looking for a new outfit – after all, it could be you!
