References giving you nightmares?

A radiography student has praised a free referencing system he discovered online.

Paul Fenton, of Salford University, has recommended Zotero; a free extension to the popular web-browser Firefox that enables users to automatically store, organise and cite all of their research sources.

"As students we are frequently required to search out relevant and authoritative information from a variety of sources: journals, textbooks and conference papers to name but a few.

"Keeping track of these documents and the all-important citation details is at best a chore and I have personally wasted many an hour trying to rediscover pertinent articles that have long since been misplaced.

"Zotero offers a compelling alternative to existing referencing packages thanks to three key characteristics: it has a rapidly growing user community; it is open source and costs nothing!"
