From 1 October 2008 the Society of Radiographers will offer newly qualified radiographers up to six months' complimentary membership.
The Society offers a wide range of excellent benefits and services available to students and radiographers, including:
• Expert advice on education, personal and employment issues;
• Access to members’ website;
• Professional indemnity insurance;
• Reduced rates for conferences and seminars;
• Dedicated professional officer to provide expert advice and support;

The graduate offer is part of a wider change to SoR membership policy. Under a new pricing system students will pay just £48 a year for full membership or £4 per month by direct debit, however please check whether your HEI will be paying this for you.
In addition, membership for first year students will be complimentary for the 2008/2009 academic year. Please check your email inbox or contact your university or the SoR membership department for details.
There will be two start points to the student membership year: 1 October for autumn starters and 1 February for late winter/early spring starters.
